What are Life Skills ?
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines life skills as "abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life".
As parents, we cannot always protect our children even if we want to. However through positive experiences, play and experiential learning in a safe environment, we can impart core life skills that can equip them to deal with any life challenges.
Just like any other skills, they are best developed during foundational years.
